Building with AI

Better defaults, made reusable.

Working with AI has meant learning where it needs direction. These are two skills I built to put that learning into practice.

Research workflows · Claude skill

Analyze First

AI can jump to themes before it has finished examining the evidence. This skill keeps analysis descriptive and requires confirmation that all the data is in, plus permission to begin synthesis.

Data Viz Best Practices

For a client project, I used Claude Code with live Supabase schemas to develop a measurement strategy, SQL joins, and a sample dashboard. I built this skill to guide useful, accessible charts—from chart choice and truthful scales to labels and hierarchy.

About my practice

The right conversation
comes first.

Before choosing a method or building a solution, I help a team work out what it needs to learn, which risks matter, and what the evidence will let us decide.

I work with the people closest to the problem, connecting research, product strategy, and the systems that make the work repeatable. Sometimes that means a focused study; sometimes a measurement plan, a prototype, or a tool the team can use again.

My creative practice includes Season and Color, my floral studio. Working with materials and making things by hand is another part of how I think and build.
